Applicable law

This website is governed by Belgian law. In the event of a dispute, the Belgian courts have sole jurisdiction.

2. Data controller

Romeo Wauters (Aesthetic Studio) is the controller of the personal data collected on this website. Castelain Digital, which built and maintains the website, can access it only to keep the website running.

3. The data we collect

Booking on the website

When you book a session or a semi-private spot: your name, your phone number, your email address, the chosen format, any note you add, the time slot and the language of the website.

They are only used to organise your session: sending you the confirmation, a reminder 24 hours before and, if needed, an email if it is cancelled or moved, and allowing the studio to contact you about your session.

Members area

The members area is reserved for clients invited by the studio. It holds your name, your email address, your membership and your bookings. Your password is stored in encrypted form: no one, neither the studio nor the technical provider, can read it.

Legal basis: the performance of your booking and your membership (Article 6(1)(b) GDPR).

Retention period

Your data is kept for as long as you are a client of the studio and as long as it is needed to follow up your sessions. You can ask for it to be deleted at any time (see section 6).

4. Cookies and local storage

This website uses no advertising or analytics cookies. It only keeps, in your browser (local storage):

• your choice of language and theme (light or dark);
• if you log in to the members area, your session, so you don’t have to log in again on every visit.

Legal basis: legitimate interest (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR), as this data is strictly technical. It stays until you clear it from your browser or log out.

5. Third-party services and external links

• Google Maps: the map and the Street View image of the studio are displayed by Google, under Google’s privacy policy.
• Fonts: loaded from Google Fonts. As with any web resource, this sends your IP address to Google.
• Physiotherapy: appointments with our physiotherapists are booked on Rosa and Progenda, which have their own privacy policies.
• Bot protection: before a booking is sent, Cloudflare Turnstile checks that the request comes from a person, not a robot.
• WhatsApp: the WhatsApp button opens a chat on WhatsApp, only if you click it.

Cloudflare, Resend and Google are companies based in the United States: some data may therefore be processed outside the European Union. Your data is never sold or used for advertising.

6. Your rights

Under Articles 15 to 22 of the GDPR, you can at any time:

• access your data and get a copy of it;
• have it corrected;
• have it deleted;
• restrict its use or object to it;
• receive it in a common format (portability).

To exercise these rights, write to wauters.romeo@gmail.com or by post to Romeo Wauters, Aesthetic Studio, Rue de Gravelines 5, 1000 Brussels. We reply within one month at most.

If you believe your data is not being handled correctly, you can lodge a complaint with the Data Protection Authority: dataprotectionauthority.be.
